Meet Our Animals

Without them we wouldn't have our wonderful cheese products

Eugene

Eugene was one of our first goats. He is named after Heather's elementary school and has a special place in our heart. Unfortunately he was originally purchased for breeding but he is not able to breed due to medical reasons so he hangs out with Floopsy, Lem, Don, and Rocco.

Harper

Harper is one of our Alpines and is very loving and social. She has made some of our cutest babies and produces amazing milk.

Nutmeg

Nutmag is one of our smaller goats but is super sweet. She is sister to Maverick. Her coloring is absolutely amazing.

Maverick

Maverick is one of our wethered bucks. A wethered goat is one that has been neutered. He is brother to Nutmeg.

Don was born on the farm to Oatmeal. He is the first animal to be born at White Tree Farm and was a surprise. We thought maybe the momma was pregnant but weren't sure until one morning this little bundle of joy showed up in our pasture.

Don

Don aka Donkey Otie Volume II was born on the farm to Oatmeal. He is the first animal to be born at White Tree Farm and was a surprise. We thought maybe the momma was pregnant but weren't sure until one morning this little bundle of joy showed up in our pasture.

Rocco

Rocco was born to Penelopy. We were surprised when he came out almost solid white. In this North Carolina red clay he did not stay this white for very long.

Penelope

One of our momma donkeys. She is shy unless you have food but she is very protective of her herd.

Oatmeal

Oatmeal is a big ol puppy dog. She follows us around the pasture wanting a head pat or a butt scratch. She is momma to Don.
